In addition to the conferences listed, fellows have a broad variety of additional didactic opportunities through the Department of Medicine, UW South Lake Union research labs, Puget Sound Veterans Health Administration, and other departments within the UW School of Medicine.  

Fellows Lecture Series

(Weekly)
Covers many of the core curriculum topics required for ACGME accreditation. These lectures typically are interactive in addition to other didactic sessions.

Journal Club

(Weekly)
Provides endocrinology fellows the opportunity to present and analyze reported data in the clinical and basic science literature, supported by attending physican oversight.

Post Clinic Conference

(Weekly)
An opportunity for fellows to discuss cases with a clinical faculty after each weekly continuity clinic.

Department of Medicine Grand Rounds 

(Weekly)
Grand Rounds hosted by the Department of Medicine. Faculty and fellows are encouraged to attend, but videos are also posted online.

An opportunity for fellows and junior faculty engaged in research to present their projects to an audience of peers and receive feedback. 

Summer Series

A summer series based on what every fellow should know before they start fellowship. Topics are voted on annually for the incoming class.
